Beverly Hills, CA – Multi-talented Author, Actress, Director & Stage Producer Natalia Lazarus is set to bring her Award winning, My Love Affair: Thorns & Roses to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books April 23rd & 24th at USC. Lazarus will be a special guest of The Book Publicists of Southern California and will appear from 12-3pm during the 2 day event.
My Love Affair: Thorns & Roses is an alluring and beautiful Love Story of poetry, featuring original Picasso artwork. The book was inspired during a moment in time while the actress was starring in Jeffery Hatcher’s dramatic, two-character play A Picasso in Paris. The book’s heart wrenching romance, in verse, reveals moments of love found and love lost; from extraordinary joy, to extreme sorrow, to new beginnings.
Natalia, CEO & Founder of the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory & its iconic Promenade Playhouse, is the daughter of a German-Jewish diplomat and a Honduran psychologist. She is a talented, enticing and contemporary woman with international flair and multi-lingual skills (Spanish, French, Italian and English). She was educated around the world from Sorbonne University in Paris, NYU, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, The University of London and The British Film Institute.
Natalia has devoted much of her life to participating in the seven lively arts. She has acted, directed and produced more than 35 stage productions, has appeared in numerous TV guest spots and has been featured in over 22 commercials, one of which resulted in her being the voice for Estee Lauder. Natalia recently penned the One Woman Show, Birthday Girl, which premiered at the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival where it received applause and praise from critics and audiences alike.
